KEG Lifting Fundamentals
All skills begin with the most basic fundamental principles. Keg lifting is no different as it is a learned skill. Very few people on Earth are able to do evetything as well with a keg as with a barbell or a dumbbell. Some folks, myself included, will never perform as well with a keg than a barbell or a dumbbell. That is a reality I know to be true based on the amount of work I have completed in order to figure it out.
The keg or barrel as its commonly known provides the user with a neutral grip which serves to keep the body tight during usage. It is quite ironic considering that when a keg is partially filled with either a liquid or a solid it requires the user be absolutelty compact. If the grip were any other way, it would not work as well. Aside from obviously gripping a keg there is a great deal of upper body compression that occurs during the lifting.
Just as the KEG CONDITIONING Course states, all exercises start with the empty keg. Diving headfirst into keg training without learning the fundamentals would be a grave mistake. Remember to pay your dues with this type of implement. My Course outlines how to progress step by step without setback using kegs/barrels. Expect to know how to manipulate and dominate kegs after learning from me.
Keg lifting can benefit you in different ways than traditional weight lifting. The feel is different and something that needs to be experienced to be believed. For starters, most newcomers have a difficult time keeping up with the grip demands. Put it this way, when you finish my course you will be strong in life not just a weight room.
Sincerely,
